Visitation will be Friday, May 10, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home. Ms. McCollum died on Monday, May 6, 2019. She was born May 6, 1934, in Clay County to Orbie Humphrey and Lela Kemp Humphrey.

She was a housewife and mother and formerly was employed by Smith’s Florist in Hartselle. Preceding her in death were her parents, a daughter: Ruby Ann Jones, four brothers: Leroy, Elton Lee, Melvin and David Anthony Humphrey and two sisters:Vena Mae Widner and Mary Elizabeth Voyles. Survivors include: Three Sons: Charles Cox, Jr. (Tammy), Billy Cox and Bobby Cox (Inez) Two Daughters: Rita Ann Hughes (Bobby) and Sheila Fay Porter Three Brothers: Harold Douglas Humphrey, Morris Ray Humphrey and Raymond Andrew Humphrey Two Sisters: Jessie Mae Blankenship and Doris Jean Self Fifteen Grandchildren Twenty-Five Great Grandchildren Twenty-Two Great Great Grandchildren Pallbearers will be Kenny Hetrick, Bobby Hughes, Bobby Cox, Dylan Jackson, Kevin Kitchen, Anthony Cox and Rodney Jones .
