Estelle Jane Rinehart, 88, of Pleasant View Retirement Community, formerly of Mount Joy, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Born in Conewago Township, Dauphin County, she was the daughter of the late Ira Franklin and Anna Mary (Lokey) Fitzwater. Estelle was the wife of the late Raymond T. Rinehart Sr. who passed away on January 12, 2015.

Estelle graduated from Elizabethtown High School class of 1948. She retired from AMP, Inc. as an Executive Secretary. Estelle was an active member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Mount Joy, for over 50 years where she taught Sunday School, created weekly bulletins, served on the Altar Guild and volunteered in the nursery.

Estelle was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzles, going to Rehoboth Beach, and babysitting her ten grandchildren. Every Christmas she baked thousands of cookies for family and friends. Estelle is survived by five children, Raymond T., II married to Betty Baltozer Rinehart, of Manheim, Mark R. Rinehart, fiance of Laurie Finley of Elizabethtown, Douglas, married to Jacquelyn Williams Rinehart of Mount Joy, Debra, married to Edward Sumpman of Manheim and Cynthia, married to Earl Ruhl, Jr. of Manheim; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and three sisters, Loraine Glidden, Geraldine Flohr and Lorelle Batton.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Vivian Emenheiser and Darlene Gebhart; and two brothers, Weldon and Douglas Fitzwater. A funeral service honoring Estelle’s life will be held at the Sheetz Funeral Home, Inc. 16 East Main Street, Mount Joy on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 11 AM. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home before the service from 10 AM to 11 AM.

Interment will be private at Mount Joy Cemetery.
