Esther C. Waldron, 89 of Cabot, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries. Born July 16, 1929 in Swissvale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold J. Waldron and Esther M. Waldron. Esther was a graduate of Swissvale High School, University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Tech.

She was a librarian at Carnegie Library and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Library. She enjoyed reading and sewing. Surviving are her sister in law, Margaret D. Waldron of Sarver, nieces and nephews, Margaret E. Waldron of Sarver, Laura C. (Bruce Franklin) Waldron of Yardley, PA and Kenneth H. (Shannon) Waldron of Sarver, 8 great nieces and nephews, and 1 great great niece.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harold J. Waldron. There will be no visitation or services. Private interment will be held at the Homewood Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to the South Butler Community Library.
