Eugene D. Friedman, 81, died September 10, 2018 at his home in East Hampton, NY. The funeral will take place on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Avenue, Westfield, NJ 07090. Burial will follow funeral service at Beth Israel Cemetery, US Highway 1 North, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 next to Rochelle Friedman.

The family will be sitting Shiva on Thursday, September 13, 2018 and Friday afternoon, September 14, 2018 at the home of Adam & Lisa Friedman. Gene was born on February 7, 1937 in New York City. He had a long and successful career in the financial services industry ending in his retirement in 1995.

Eugene was an avid player of the NY Times Crossword Puzzle and had multiple hobbies over the years including model ship building. Eugene loved working on building projects including the complete redevelopment of his final home. Eugene is survived by two children, Karen and Adam Friedman, Spouses Kika and Lisa, and grandchildren Jessica, Joshua, Matthew and Enrico.
