Obituary for Eula Bryant Platt Print Eula Bryant Platt, 91, of Colonial Heights passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019. Born December 3, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Maxie L. and Addie I. Stewart, and was also preceded in death by her first husband, George F. Bryant; and seven siblings. Eula was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church for about 10 years and retired from Allied Chemical after 20 years of service, having been the first female foreman for the company.

She is survived by her husband, James E. Platt; children, Janice Blank (Bill), Frank Bryant (Nancy); step-children, James Platt, Jr. (Allie), Vickie Kline (George); grandchildren, Mark Blank, Christopher Bryant (Priscilla), Kelly Bryant, Forrest Kline, Hunter Kline, Justin Platt (Lauren), Crystal Jones (Chris); great-grandchild, Levi Bryant; sister, Linda Quail (Wayne); and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, VA 23805. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday night, January 29, 2019 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
