Eva Lee Drake, 94, of Donalds, died Saturday, June 9, 2018 at her home. She was born in Donalds to the late John Andrew Drake and Louise Devore Drake. Ms. Drake was devoted to her family.

Because of her caring nature, she was always available to help at any time. Known for her outstanding cooking ability, she also was recognized as an accomplished gardener. Many happy hours were spent with her flowers.

Ms. Drake was a member of Greenville Presbyterian Church in Donalds. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Pearson Drake, Lawrence Drake and Robert Drake; and her sister, Margaret Atkinson. Ms. Drake is survived by her niece, Josie Fleming, of Buffalo, SC; her great-niece and longtime caregiver, Kim Fleming, of Donalds; and a wide circle of extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be 11:00AM, Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in the Greenville Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Tom Pitman officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.

The family expresses their special thanks to Hospice of the Upstate for their support and care, especially to Patricia Garner. Memorial contributions, in memory of Ms. Drake, may be sent to the Greenville Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, PO Box 157, Donalds, SC 29638.
