Frances Shirley Ivester, 67, of Abbeville, wife of the late Barry Dale Ivester, died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the McCormick Rehab and Healthcare. She was born in Abbeville to the late Vernon Lawton, Sr. and Frances Bowie Lawton. Mrs. Ivester worked for many years with IT Fabrics in Abbeville and was a beloved mother, sister and grandmother.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Gunter and a grandson, John Haddon, Jr She is survived by her daughter, Stacy Haddon and her husband John of Abbeville; a brother, Jimmy Lawton of Greenwood; and three granddaughters, Brianna, Janessa and Johnaria. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM to 7:00PM Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Harris Funeral Home.
