Eva Marie Holbrook of Crittenden/Mt. Zion, Kentucky April 13, 1931 – January 10, 2019 Eva Marie Holbrook, 87, widow of Kenneth Holbrook, died Thursday January 10, 2019 at Woodcrest Nursing & Rehab Center in Erlanger. Born April 13, 1931 in Grant County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Bessie Atha Carter.

In September of 1950, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Holbrook; he preceded her in death on October 16, 2004. She was a homemaker but also loved working in the public. She was a restaurateur and sales clerk at several restaurants over the years.

She also loved spending time cultivating and tending her garden. Survivors include one son: Kenny (Karen) Holbrook of Florence, KY; one daughter: Phyllis (Rick) Weber of Florence, KY. Two grandchildren also survive: Bret (Maggie) Holbrook, Angela (Chris) Bishop, along with two great-grandchildren: Zach (Sarah) Bishop and Jordon Bishop and two great-great-grandchildren: River Mae Bishop and Kinsley Holbrook.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Ervin Carter and a sister: Francis Davis. Visitation will be Monday January 14, 2019 at Stanley Funeral Homes, Crittenden location, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and going until the time of the funeral at 11:00. Burial will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions in Mrs. Holbrook’s memory to: Hospice of St. Elizabeth, 483 S. Loop Rd.
