Eva Rose Begnaud Guilbeaux August 14, 1926 – May 28, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card CARENCRO ~ Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Eva Rose Begnaud, age 92, the former Eva Rose LeBlanc, who passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at The Carpenter House in Lafayette. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette. Mrs. Begnaud was a native and lifelong resident of Lafayette.

She was employed with JCPenney Department Store for nine years from 1969-1978. She was a parishioner of St. Genevieve Catholic Church and was a member of the Bonne Mort Society of St. Peters in Carencro. Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Boudreaux of Carencro; one son, Russell James Begnaud of Carencro; two grandchildren, Corey Caillier and his wife, Brandi, and Paige Begnaud all of Carencro; one great granddaughter, Charlotte Rebekka Caillier; and two sisters, Jean L. Menard of Lafayette and Helen L. Stelly of Carencro.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lester J. Begnaud; one infant daughter, Charlotte Marie Begnaud; her parents, Romain LeBlanc and the former Rose Ann Trahan both natives of Lafayette; one brother, Ivy LeBlanc; one sister, Ruby L. Brignac; one grandson, Heath “Boo” Begnaud; and two sons-in-law, Roger Dale Caillier and Norward “Brick” Boudreaux. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
