Evelyn M. (Kimmel) Yoder Carl, 82, formerly of Ashland, entered into eternal rest Wednesday at Orwigsburg Center, Orwigsburg. Born September 6, 1935, in Hegins, she was the daughter of the late Ralph A. and Alva C. (Shuey) Kimmel. She was a 1953 Graduate of the former Hegins Twp.

High School and a member of Salem Barry United Methodist Church. Evelyn enjoyed needlework, crocheting, cross stitching, and stitch knitting. She also enjoyed word searches and maintaining her flower beds.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Charles Yoder (1954); second Raymond “John” Carl (1992), son Keith C. Yoder; sister Elda L. Kimmel, and a granddaughter Melissa Yoder. Evelyn is survived by sons Craig E. Carl and Rodney R. Carl; daughters Brenda L. Soto and Lori A. Raup. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Doloris L. Maurer; Phyllis M. Wagner; Gertrude G. Klinger; Martha R. Hepler; and Beverly A. Lettich; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Salem Barry United Methodist Church, 844 Deep Creek Rd, Ashland; the Rev. W. Keith Rockwell, Off. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 9AM to 11AM at the church.
