Obituary for Evelyn Marie Pagel (Liebnow) Evelyn Marie (Liebnow) Pagel, Born December 7, 1931, slipped away quietly on November 20, 2018, just shy of her 87th birthday. Evelyn was always one to show kindness and help someone in need, including people in her community who could not prepare their own meals and years of service within her church. She was blessed with a love of flowers and had an uncanny ability to make all plants and flowers grow and bloom.
She also worked diligently to help take care of her family and nothing made her happier than seeing her family grow through the years. She and her husband, Roland, fulfilled their dreams to the end. They traveled all over the United States and wintered in the southwest during many of their retirement years.
If asked, Evelyn would tell you that their ultimate dream vacation was the trip to Alaska. She relished the memory of that time throughout her later years. She is survived by many family and friends.
Daughter, Loretta (Dave) Gransee, Son, Larry (Jane) Pagel, sister, Judi (Ron) Person, sister-in-law, Eileen Zimmerman, brother-in-law, Alvie Pagel, along with grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. We were blessed to have her in our lives. She was truly full of love and light; and she will be greatly missed.
A private burial service was attended by close family. Memorials can be made to the Dementia or Parkinson’s foundations. To send flowers to the family of Evelyn Marie Pagel (Liebnow), please visit our Heartfelt Sympathies Store.
