Evelyn Osborne Smith, 90, of Perry Twp. , formerly of Scarbro, WV, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 1:18 pm at Eicher PCH, Normalville. Born May 3, 1928 in White House, KY she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Gertrude Arthur Osborne.

A resident of Perryopolis for the past 5 years, Mrs. Smith worked 20 years at the A&P, Oak Hill, WV and 10 years as a toll collector for the Ohio turnpike commission. She is survived by five grandchildren Sherman R. Smith III, Merritt Stefancik & husband Paul, Sarah Smith, Charles Smith Jr., Tonya Daley & husband John; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and a brother & sister in law Ronald & Judy Osborne of Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband Sherman R. Smith Sr.; two sons Charles E. Smith Sr., Sherman R. Smith Jr.; three brothers Donald, Elmer and Oakie Osborne and a sister Opal Rozer.
