Everett Wendell Larrabee, age 73, husband to Wilma Ruth McBride Larrabee, of Lawrenceburg, formerly of Wheaton, IL, died Friday, June 22, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Larrabee was born in Elmhurst, IL to the late Robert Vernon and Minnie Elizabeth Bristol Larrabee. He was a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran; member of Sand Spring Baptist Church; formerly worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad; was a handyman; and was a bee keeper and member of the Shelby County Bee Keeper Association.

Everett is survived by his daughter, Amy Jo Larrabee, Louisville; two sons, Darin Lee (Holly) Larrabee, Salvisa, and Samuel Jay (Shelley) Larrabee, Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren, Samuel, Rebekah, and Gabrielle Larrabee, all of Salvisa; three sisters, Norma Whiteside, of Missouri, Dorothy Ann Larrabee and Vivienne (Eldon) Seaman, both of Drummond Island, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Milton Larrabee. Cremation was chosen.

Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
