Ezat Fouladi, 98, passed away on March 25, 2019 in Saline, Michigan. She was married to Mehdi Massoudi for over 76 years. Ezat had a beautiful life with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends and family who visited her often and surrounded her on a daily basis.

Ezat was born in Broujerd, Iran and later she moved with her children and husband to Tehran, Iran. Most of her life was spent in Tehran. Since the 80’s alongside of her husband she lived both in Iran and in United States.

Eventually, they moved to Dexter Michigan and later to Saline, Michigan. Ezat, was mother to five children and her life revolved around her children and her family. She adored her children and her family and the world revolved around them.

She was born in to a family of three brothers and her parents just adored her. When she married Mehdi, her husband, followed in their footsteps and spoiled her. She was an excellent cook, excellent at needle point, sewing, knitting, She loved animals, and she loved her garden.

Ezat and her husband of over 76 years were fond of poetry and they would recite poetries of Hafez, Khayyam, and Rumi together. Even up to her last couple of months, she could recite those poetries from memory. She loved her family and would do anything to help anyone.

She was famous in the family for being kind and she is always remembered for having a smile on her face no matter the situation. Most of all she was very strong and resilient. Her family learned her strength after she lost both her sons and her granddaughter.

She was a beautiful, smart, kind, witty and loving human being who left a legacy of love, kindness and humanity. She thought her children how to be strong, kind and most of all a compassionate human being. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, her two sons; Massoud Massoudi and Saied Massoudi, her granddaughter; Yasamine Massoudi, her two son-in-laws; Iraj Entezari and Behzad Yamini, and her beloved husband; Mehdi Massoudi.

She is survived by many friends and family; daughters; Nahid Massoudi, Farideh Massoudi, Roya Massoudi; her son-in-law; Farsad Fotouhi, grandchildren; Bakhtiar Yamini, Seriti Yamini, Sepideh Sepasi, Roozbeh Entezari, Sepehr Entezari, Sohrab Massoudi, Christy Massoudi, Mehdi Massoudi and Arman Fotouhi. ; her great grandchildren; Sienna, Alexander, Sahm, Siavash, Kianoosh, Niku, Jahan, Ayah, Matthew, Henrik, Milan and Dion. Ezat’s love and her zest for life will be missed forever and the imprint of her love will be forever in our hearts.

A memorial will take place on Saturday April 6th at 4:00 Pm at the Kensington Hotel 3500 South State Street Ann Arbor, MI 48108, followed by dinner.
