Ruth L. Bogardus (Pud) of Munith, formerly of Belleville, was born September 14, 1928, to the late Clayton and Ruth Hopp in Ypsilanti, MI. She is survived by her sons; Robert “Bo” (Noel), Doug, daughter Sue (Bill) Parraghi, daughter-in-law Jamie, 6 grandchildren, and 10 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bogie) of 64 years, infant daughter Linda, son Steve, and granddaughter Danielle.

She was employed through the Van Buren School System in the lunchroom for over 30 years where she was loved by both the teachers and students. She loved her family and was always willing to help whenever needed. She enjoyed going to the casino with Noel and Sue and was able to go for her 90th birthday.

Her special personality made anyone around her feel welcome in her home and she was always ready for a good time. Through the love and support of her children, she was able to remain in her home, at the lake, and died peacefully on March 10, 2019. Her wishes were to be cremated and have a party to celebrate her life, which will take place at a later date.

We were truly blessed to be loved and raised by her and our dad. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Ruth L. Bogardus please visit our Sympathy Store.
