Florence Marie (Flo) Juback passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 23rd, 2019. Flo was born to Ercole and Annetta Moschini on March 29th, 1930, in Braddock, PA and grew up in Donora, PA. After graduating from Donora Senior High School in 1948 she moved to Pittsburgh and found work as a legal secretary.

She met the love of her life; Jim Juback, who was attending nearby Duqusne University and coincidently was also from her home town Donora. They married on August 8, 1954, and were together for 64 years. Flo became a mother and homemaker and devoted her life to Jim, her six children, and her 10 grandchildren.

She was happiest raising, supporting, and spending time with them. Flo and Jim Juback moved to Connecticut before settling in Ann Arbor in 1966. After her children were grown, she went to work for Jacobson’s department store in Ann Arbor in Ann Arbor.

She worked there for twenty years. Stylish and regal, Flo left a lasting impression on her customers over the years. She took pride in cultivating her memorable style through bargains.

She loved overflowing family dinners. Her speciality was lasagna, and she baked delicious cakes and pies. When she wasn’t cooking and entertaining her family she enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens, classic movies and a good game of rummy 500.

Flo and Jim Juback loved to travel. They went to Italy twice to explore and to visit Flo’s Italian relatives. They also made trips to England, Slovakia, Spain, and British Columbia.

Family vacations to Aruba and Siesta Key FL. , and they enjoyed spending winters in Florida with their friends from Donora, PA. Flo had a kind heart, generous soul and a great wit, often beginning her stories with, “I had to laugh”.

She is survived by her children: Jim (Joyce Leiberman) Juback; Jane (Gordon) Quin; Jack (Vicki) Juback; Jennifer (Steve) Vangelatos; Jason (Beth) Juback; and Jessica Juback. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren: Nick and Tony Vangelatos; Marisa and Ian Quin; Justin, Jared, Juliana and Jaiden Juback; Brian and Jasper Juback. She is also survived by her Sister Diane (Dennis) Graumanns and their children.

Including, her nice Lorris and her husband Don Henderson. Along with other nieces and nephews. Florence was preceded in death by her husband Jim Juback, her parents, her brother Robert and her sister Rose.

Visitation will be held at Nie Family Funeral Home, 3767 W. Liberty Rd. , Ann ARbor on Sunday June 2nd from 7-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 3430 Dover St., Dexter, on June 3rd at 11AM.
