Donald L. Bradley passed away unexpectedly at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital on May 15, 2019 at the age of 80. He was a resident at Heartland Health Care Facility where he was well taken care of among a caring staff, he was blessed with daily attention from a host of family, friends, and loved ones. The second-born child of the late James and Ethel Bradley, Don arrived in this world on September 8, 1938.

From an early age, he was known for his warm-hearted mischievous personality and his playful laughter. Don proudly served in the US Armed Forces as a young adult. He followed that with a long, fulfilling career in the automotive industry, holding various management positions at the Bradley Automotive Group in Ann Arbor.

Don was married to the love of his life, Lovie, for fifty years and they raised three phenomenal children, Eric, Myra and Mark. He leaves to cherish his memory, these immediate family members as well as grandchildren Donovan, Habiba, Laila, Muhammed, and Ayaha; brothers, David and Samuel (brother James preceded him in death); sisters, Virginia, Marion and Doris (sister Kathryn preceded him in death); nieces, nephews, a large extended Mallory-Stamps family in Tennessee and Alabama and numerous other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Service to be held Saturday, June 1st, 2019, 11:00 am at Nie Family Funeral Home, 3767 W. Liberty Road, Ann Arbor.

Visitation for friends and family will begin at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Washtenong Memorial Cemetery,3771 Whitmore Lake Road, Ann Arbor. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Donald Lee Bradley please visit our Sympathy Store.
