F. Jean (Barr) McCloskey, 89, Altoona, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018. She was born June 21, 1928, in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late John E. and Florence (Helsel) Barr. In 1947, she married Chester A. McCloskey, and he preceded her in death in 2002.

Surviving are two daughters: Elma Jean Cassidy and Ginger Hartman; three sons: Larry, Dennis and Joseph; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will be held immediately after at 7:00 p.m. Friday. Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
