Joyce A. Hicks, 67, Williamsburg, went home to be with the Lord Saturday evening, June 23, 2018. She was born June 25, 1950, in Williamsburg, daughter of Chester and Helen (Koch) Richardson. She married Ed L. Hicks September 27, 1975, in Williamsburg.

Joyce is survived by her husband with whom she shared 42 years of marriage; two daughters: Cindy A. Hicks, of Williamsburg and Jamie L. Hicks, of Roaring Spring; a grandson, Jude; two sisters: Barbara Bracken, of Johnstown and Sharon Webb, of Martinsburg and a brother, David and wife, Madeline, of Williamsburg. She was a graduate of Williamsburg Community High School, class of 1969. She was a member of Grace Pointe Community Church, Williamsburg.

Joyce enjoyed playing her guitar and singing. At Joyce request there will be no viewing. A funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the Grace Pointe Community Church, 815 Yellow Springs Drive, Williamsburg with pastor Jim Spivey officiating.

Interment at Mines Cemetery, Oreminea, PA. Memorials may be given in care of the family.
