Judy A. Rutherford, 78, Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday at Life’s Promise Personal Care Home, Ligonier. She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Lewis W. and Sara J. (Merritts) Rutherford. Surviving is a nephew, Nick Rutherford (Nanette) of Ligonier; and two nieces: Cathy Rutherford and Cindy Rutherford of Export.

She was preceded in death by her companion, George “Gino” Taylor; and two brothers: Richard “Dick” Rutherford and William “Bill” Rutherford. Judy graduated in 1958 from Hollidaysburg High School. She retired from the Blair County Courthouse after 38 years as a clerk.

She attended the First United Methodist Church of Hollidaysburg, and Judy enjoyed shopping and socializing with friends. At Judy’s request, all services are private. Interment will be at New Canoe Creek Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
