Renna R. Edmundson Smith, 78, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Duncansville, passed away Wednesday evening at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Lackawanna, N.Y., daughter of the late John and Renna (Casner) Evans. She was first married to Richard Edmundson, who preceded her in death.

She then was married to Donald Smith, who also preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons: John Edmundson and wife, Janet and Neil Scott Edmundson and wife, Amanda, both of Hollidaysburg; a stepson, Tom Smith of Hollidaysburg; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty London Robison of Portage. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Edmundson; a great-granddaughter, Tessa; and a brother, John.

Renna retired from the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home as a nurse’s aide. She was a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God, Altoona, where she also volunteered at their food bank. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and making crafts.

Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church, Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Pastor Walter Smith officiating. Interment will be at 9 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2018, at Royer Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be sent to Abundant Life Assembly of God Church Food Bank, 231 Howard Ave. , Altoona, PA 16601.
