Regina J. Boland, 81, Hollidaysburg, died Monday morning, June 4, 2018 at Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg. She was born in East Freedom, daughter of the late Solon A. and Izola P. (Zeth) Hoover. She married Carl J. Boland and he preceded her in death on October 10, 2017, after sharing 55 years of marriage.

Surviving are a son, Matthew and wife, Nicole, of Hollidaysburg; three grandsons: Eli, Trevor and Nathaniel; and a sister, Janet Greenleaf of Martinsburg. She was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert. She was a 1954 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School, Claysburg.

She retired from the Hollidaysburg School District as a secretary, and prior she was employed at A&P Stores in Claysburg and Roaring for 17 years. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, and she enjoyed yard work and flowers. At Regina’s request, there will be no viewing.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Monsignor Stanley B. Carson celebrant. Committal will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Hollidaysburg. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
