Aug. 8, 1935- May 24, 2018 Robert G. Sell, 82, Newry, died Thursday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Newry, son of the late Harvey and Gertrude (George) Sell.

He married Deloris A. Diehl on Feb. 27, 1965, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Newry. Surviving are his wife with whom he shared 53 years of marriage; four daughters: Monica Luther and husband, Richard, of Duncansville, Bonita McHugh of Hollidaysburg, Marjorie Frank and husband, Vincent, of Hollidaysburg and Patricia Muriceak and husband Edward, of Cresson; a son, Jeffrey and wife, Karen, of Duncansville; 11 grandchildren; two sisters: Rita Beegle and Madeline DeSalis; and three brothers: Roger, Richard and Francis.

Robert graduated from Hollidaysburg Sr. High School, Class of 1953. He retired from RJ Trucking and Glass as a driver. He served in the U.S. Air Force and Robert was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Newry.

At Robert’s request, there will be no viewing. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Newry, Father Allen P. Zeth officiating. Committal will be at New St. Mary Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.

Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home, Inc., Hollidaysburg. Memorials may be given to a charity of one’s choice.
