Obituary for Faye Earline Burr (Swiger) Faye Earline Burr, 78, of Bennett’s Run, Lumberport, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the United Hospital Center, surrounded by her family. She was born in Dola, September 20, 1939, a daughter of the late Hoddie Earl and Esta B. Robinson Swiger. On January 4, 1958 she married Jimmie Joseph Burr, who preceded her in death on July 2, 2010.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph E. Burr and his wife Sheryl, Lumberport, Timothy L. “Tim” Burr and his wife Kathy, Bennett’s Run, four grandchildren, Cassy Burr and her fiancé Mike Jackson, Cory Yeager, Colton Burr and his fiancé Jamie Fransisco, and Laholli Yeager, one step grandson, David Mazzei and his wife Wendy, two great-grandchildren, Christopher Mazzei and Makenzie Fay Burr, her sister, Rhea Cline, Bennett’s Run, sisters-in-law, Jane Elder, Brown, and Linda Parsons, Shinnston, and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Kay Burr, one sister, Ella Pearl Robey, and one brother Ray Earl Swiger. Mrs. Burr was a member of the Ten Mile Baptist Church in Dola where she enjoyed volunteering for the Ten Mile satellite of the Lord’s Pantry.

She was a former member of the Rebekah’s Lodge of Wallace. She enjoyed camping and having meals with her family. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother.

The family will receive friends at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 2-8pm, Monday. A funeral service will be held at the Ten Mile Baptist Church, Dola, at 11am, Tuesday, September 4, with Pastor Jeff Perine officiating. Mrs. Burr will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be in the Lion’s Club Cemetery in Lumberport. Condolences may be extended to the family at www. perinefunerals.com.
