Obituary for Denver F Tucker Denver F. Tucker, 86, of Lumberport, passed away on August 4, 2018 at Eagle Point Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Orwell, Ohio following an extended stay. He was born March 15, 1932 in Wallace, a son of the late William F. and Dora V. Hennen Tucker. He is survived by his children, Ruth E Tucker, Washington, Sharon L. Tucker, North Carolina, Mary L Tucker, Rock Creek, OH, and Bobby Tucker, Ashtabula, OH; his grandson Michael L. Tucker.

He was also preceeded in death by brothers Clovis W. and Arden J. Tucker; his sisters, Grace L, Elma L and Wilma R Tucker. Mr. Tucker was a retired union pipe fitter. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

While living in Indiana, he had memberships in I.O.O.F. Chapter 140, Rebekah lodge #239, a Master Mason in lodge #112, York Rite #12, #23, #15, Scottish Rite, Shrine, Hadi Temple. In West Virginia, he held memberships in OES Chapter 103, now part of Chapter 11, Clarksburg, Loyal Order of Moose and American Legion #52, both of Clarksburg along with Elks #482, Eagles #2353, VFW and Scottish Rite, all of Clarksburg, and in Shinnston, the American Legion #31.

Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home, 300 Pike St., Shinnston, on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM with a funeral service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Kevin Nuzum officiating. Interment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery. A service of Harmer Funeral Home.
