Obituary for Jennings W Fisher Jennings W. Fisher, 92, of Spelter, WV passed away on Sunday January 27, 2019 at his residence surround by family. He was born on September 19, 1926 in Annmore WV. Jennings is survived by his wife Lida R. Fisher whom he married on July 28, 1947 having 71 years of marriage; sons, Eugene A. Fisher of Warren, Ohio, Dana Vance Fisher of Spelter, WV; daughter Kelly Lyn Fisher of Rock Cave, WV; Grandchildren Eric J. Miller of Spelter, WV, Michael Fisher of Warren, Ohio, Eric Fisher of Warren, Ohio, Carie Rivera of Warren, Ohio, Connie Wilkins of Cleveland, Ohio, Karen Fisher of Cleveland, Ohio, Melissa Smith of Orlando, FL.

and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death are his parents Mary E. Bee Fisher and Samuel L. Fisher; brothers Ausborne E. Fisher, William W. Fisher, Adam Fisher and Richard Vance Fisher; sisters Kathleen Garica, Opal T. McIntire, Louise M. Edenfield. Jennings retired from General Motors in 1982 and was a Methodist by faith, loved cooking, gardening, hunting and fishing.

He served during World War II in the US Navy. Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home, 300 Pike St., Shinnston on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a funeral service on Friday February 1, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Vickie Sheppard officiating, Interment will be at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
