Obituary for William Homer Myers William H. Myers, 73 of Shinnston passed away on Tuesday August 28, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on January 31, 1945 in Clarksburg, a son of late Homer J. Myers and Mary Bart Myers. William is survived by his wife of 51 years Joyce A. Myers, daughter Melissa Myers Davis and husband Dale of Sterling Heights, MI, Brother James Myers and wife Patricia of Washington, PA, 2 grandchildren William Dale Davis and Westin Dale Davis of Sterling Heights, MI, his brother-in-law, Aulbert “Pete” Roberts and his wife LaDoris, sister-in-law Mildred Belcastro and husband Nick.

along with several nieces and nephews. William enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting and was an active member of the Green Hills Country Club. He was retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways as an Engineering Tech.

He was an Avid member of the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church as an Elder of the church. Friends and Family will be received at Harmer Funeral Home, 300 Pike St. Shinnston, WV from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a service at 7:00 PM on Friday August 31, 2018 with Pastor Jeff Dytzel officiating.
