Obituary for Felicitas V. Garcia Hidalgo, Texas Mrs. Felicitas V. Garcia, 89, entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 28, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Felicitas was born on Nov. 23, 1928 in Hualahuises, NL.

Mexico to Jose Higinio and Maria Luisa Vasquez. Felicitas was a long time resident of Hidalgo. Felicitas was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter: Maria Del Socorro Rendon; three brothers: Santiago Vasquez, Isidoro Vasquez and Felipe Vasquez.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 71 years: Mr. Leandro Garcia Sr.; her children: Eleazar (Irma) Garcia, Eduardo Garcia, Leandro (Berenice) Garcia, Everardo Garcia, Heliodoro (Camelia) Garcia, Guillermo (Alessandra) Garcia, Elias (Roxanne) Garcia, Maria Elida Garcia, Gloria Molina, Dora Alicia Gonzales, Virginia Perez, Felicitas Garcia and Marta I. (Jose Luis) Juarez; one brother: Daniel Vasquez; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Divine Mercy Chaplet will begin at 6:30 pm followed by the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm. A celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow to the Hidalgo City Cemetery in Hidalgo, Texas.
