Ferrell Lewis Childress, age 82, of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Glenwood, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019. He was born on January 12, 1937, in Bismarck, the son of Joseph Clark Childress and Katy Mae Gardner Childress. On August 14, 1965, he was married to Sheila Childress, who preceded him in death on August 20, 2012.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 12, 2019, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with John Hall officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
