Flavil Norris Suggs, Jr., 69, of Bowling Green entered into rest Saturday, October 13, 2018 at his residence. Norris was born February 12, 1949 in Decatur, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents Flavil Norris Suggs, Sr. and Doris Gillespie Suggs.

Norris was retired warehouse supervisor from TVA, owner rental properties and former manager for ACE Hardware in Bowling Green. He was a member of Iuka Church of Christ in Iuka, Miss. He was a Eagle Scout and a beloved father and dedicated husband and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years Levonia Bennett Suggs, two sons Jason Suggs (Kimberly) of Simpsonville, KY and Kevin Suggs (Tammy) of Morgantown, KY. Two sisters Alma Suggs Whitlow (Kenneth) of Cado, AL and Annette Suggs Buza (Mike) of Swartz Creek, MI. Five wonderful grandchildren Bryan Keen, Brianna, Tristan, Lillian and Hannah Suggs.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. There will be no funeral services and cremation was chosen. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Potter Children’s Home, 2350 Nashville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101.
