Florence Arlene Haney, age 93, of South Bend, IN passed away on Monday October 22, 2018 at Cardinal Nursing Home in South Bend. She was born on August 7, 1925 in Plymouth to Henry R. and Fannie L. Feece. On January 4, 1947 at Christ the King Catholic Church she married James E. Haney.

Florence was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Florence is survived by her daughter, Diane (Richard) Dreher of South Bend; her sons, Charles Haney of Florida, and James (Ingrid) Haney of Granger; daughter-in-law, Sue Haney of South Bend. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Dawn (Brian) Green, Derek (Allison) Dreher, Dana (Ben) Schrader, Deven (Cassie) Dreher, Jordan (Bryce) Cone, Justin (Brandi) Haney, Jillian (Don) Westerhausen, Jessica Marvin, Lyndsey Hopkins and Kalee Haney; as well as nineteen great grandchildren.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband, James on June 5, 2008, her parents, her son, Thomas E. Haney; her sisters, Aletha Croy and Viola Farwell; her brothers, Everett Feece and Gerald Feece. In keeping with Florence’s wishes graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Cedar Grove Cemetery at Notre Dame. Memorial donations in memory of Florence may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.
