Florence Yvonne Ray February 05, 1939 – May 24, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Florence Yvonne Ray was born February 5, 1939 in Asheville, NC where she departed this life May 24, 2019. She was a daughter of Clyde and Janie P. Cohen Mosley. Surviving are her daughters, Deborah P. Major, Regina Major, Lolita Major Ray, Claudette Major Ray, and Carlotta L. Ray; sons, George Ray, Jr., William Ray and Johnny Paul Major; sister, Melva Jean Mosley Sutton; special friend, Charles P. Major; 27 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Maxine D. Major and Charlina Major; a son, Claude Major Ray; four brothers and two sisters. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hart Funeral Service. Rev.

Joseph L. Darity will officiate.
