Obituary for Floy Jean “”Jeannie”” Williams (tyson) Floy Jean “Jeannie” Williams died Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 74 years, 2 months and 12 days. She was born October 20, 1944 in Muleshoe, Texas to George H.W. and Hattie Mae (Garvin) Tyson. She married Darnel A. Williams in Maple, Texas in March of 1964 Jeannie was a hospital data entry clerk.

She was a member of Eastern Star and Rainbows, as well as the Three-Way United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Darnel; her parents; her daughter, Shelina; her sister, Wyvonna Price; and her brother, George W. “Buck” Tyson. Jeannie is survived by her son, Dewayne Williams and his wife, Kelly of Arbutus, Maryland; her sister, Mary Durham of Lubbock, Texas; her brother, Troy Tyson and his wife, Juanice of Levelland, Texas; and two granddaughters, Madison Williams and Mia Williams.
