Obituary for Foncie Marie Schauer Foncie Marie Schauer 65 of Wharton WV is abiding in the light of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the redeemer of her eternal soul. She attended Chapmanville Church of God of Prophecy and Greenwood Church of God. She departed from her earthly home to her eternal home on June 6, 2018 at CAMC-Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

She reunited in her new heavenly home with her son Gary Allen Massey and her Parents Clarence and Thelma Woodrum and sisters Betty Kay Woodrum and Norma Jean Woodrum, and brother Leon Woodrum. Marie had a love for music and teaching and taught several years at Van Jr/Sr High School,Van Elementary and Wharton Elementary School . .

She also had a love for the piano as she passed that love on to her piano students. . She loved school and church performances and stage productions.

Those left to cherish her memories as they flood a host of family,friends,students and faculty of the Boone County Board of Education. She is survived by her husband Jim Schauer of Paint Creek, son Dale and (Brandy) Massey and grandsons Logan and Connor Massey of Trussville, Alabama. Granddaughters Hannah Massey of Campbell’s Creek and Alley Massey of Cabin Creek Great Grandsons, Bryson and Brantley Stacy also of Cabin Creek.

Sisters, Shirley Doss of Wharton, Linda Doss of Bob White, Carolyn Monk of Ohley, brother Mayburn (Buddy) Woodrum of James Creek. Proverbs 10:7 The memory of a good person is a blessing! Memorial service will be 6 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2018 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV.
