Obituary for Glen McCallister Glen McCallister, 80, of Ridgeview, WV passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018 after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sesco and Maudie Mae McCallister; brothers, William McCallister, Dell McCallister and Carl McCallister; and sisters, Charlotte McCallister, Ethel Adkins and Christine Merritt. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gladys “Faye” McCallister; sons, Glen Jr. (Lisa) and Dell (Susan) all of Ridgeview, WV, Jimmy (Doreen) of Tampa, Florida, Charles (Ellen) of Charleston, WV and Brady (Sharon) of Omar, WV; daughter, Ann of Brooklyn, Ohio; six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and four great-great- grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Kinder of Ashford, WV and Carol Gudicelli of Sheffield Lake, Ohio; and a host of family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Kanawha Hospice Nurses and to Susan McCallister for the loving care she provided. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 29 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Randall Kinder officiating. Burial will follow in Barker Cemetery, Ashford.
