Forrest C. Lund Jr., 82 of Brookfield, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 4, 2018. He was born September 29, 1935 in Meredith, NH the son of the late Forrest C. Lund Sr., and Esther (Roberts) Lund. Forrest had worked as a manager for Service Master and for numerous hospitals throughout New England.

Forrest was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wolfeboro Falls, NH. He was known to many wherever he went. He had a long friendship with the owners of Louis Pizza located in Wolfeboro, NH and enjoyed many meals there.

Forrest also spent many mornings at Katie’s Kitchen enjoying his daily pancakes. He was a proud US Army Veteran serving his country from 1958 to 1964. Forrest is predeceased by his wife Ellen (Smith) Lund and a grandson Ted Bolduc.

He is survived by his wife Barbara (Baczkiel) Lund of Brookfield, NH; his children Marlene Auguste and her partner Richard Gee, Millerton, PA; Karen Carlson and her husband Kurt, Brookfield, NH and Buddy Lund and his wife Debbie, Vernon, CT; his grandchildren, Theresa, Jessica, Cassidy, Zoie and Logan; 6 great grandchildren; a sister Vera Carlson, Seaford, Delaware a brother and sister-in-law Oliver and Linda Champaigne, Wolfeboro, NH. There will be no calling hours. Memorial services will be held Thursday, 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church, Wolfeboro Falls, NH.
