Carroll B. Banfill, 83, of South Tamworth, NH passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the Genesis, Wolfeboro Bay Care facility. He was born November 11, 1934 in North Conway, NH the son of the late Benjamin and Lillian (Allard) Banfill and had lived in Tamworth all of his life. Carroll had owned and operated a Poultry Farm on Mountain Road in South Tamworth for many years.

He was very proud of the fact that he raised more than eight thousand chickens and gathered and sold eggs that supplied most of the North Country and even Laconia for many years. Prior to his career in farming poultry he had worked at a saw mill in Tamworth for a few years. Carroll was predeceased by his wife Lois (Roberts) Banfill and is survived by his children Linda Banfill, Tamworth, NH; Benjamin Banfill, Effingham, NH and Daniel Banfill, North Conway, NH.

There will be no calling hours. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00am on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the South Tamworth United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Ordination Rock Cemetery, Tamworth, NH.
