Center Ossipee, NH Simon Frederick Loud, 74, of Center Ossipee, NH passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 with his family by his side, following a long courageous battle with cancer. Fred was born December 22, 1943 in Wolfeboro, NH the son of the late Dacry and Ruth (Hilton) Loud and had lived in Center Ossipee his whole life. In his career he has worked at Thomas Lumber, Tamworth, NH, DiPrizio Lumber of Middleton, NH and most recently worked for the Town of Ossipee in the Highway Department as a truck driver for a number of years.

Fred was also active in the community serving as a volunteer with the Center Ossipee Fire Department in the 70’s and 80’s and also served as a Fire Commissioner for the department and had served as a Fire Warden for several years. Fred love spending time with his family and friends and also loved hanging out with old friends at Railroad Crossing, which he referred to as the “Old Fart’s convention. Fred was predeceased by his wife Beverly (Drew) Loud and is survived by his daughter Tina Eastman, Ctr.

Ossipee, NH, his sons James Loud, Porter, ME, and Philip Loud of New York a daughter Stephanie (Loud) Larrabee and her husband Dennis, West Ossipee, NH. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Jamie Eastman, Ctr. Ossipee, NH; Ricky Eastman, Ctr.

Ossipee, NH; Ariel Loud, Kalista Larrabee, Jessie Loud of Porter, Maine and 10 great grandchildren, Gavin, Carter, Jarrett, Alia, Levi, Peyton, Heaven, DeVeah, Bailey and Evan. Calling hours will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 at Lord Funeral Home, Center Ossipee, NH from 6-8PM. A brief graveside service wil be held at Grant Hill Cemetery, Ctr.

Ossipee, NH on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 1:00pm followed by a reception at the home of Danny Drew, 15 Blake Hill Road, Ctr. Ossipee, NH. Donations in his memory may be made to the Ossipee Concerned Citizens, PO Box 426, Center Ossipee, NH 03814.
