Decatur Funeral service for Frances Spivey, 85, will be Friday, November 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain John Tucker officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Spivey died on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born September 18, 1933, in Morgan County to Audie Mae Huskey and Elva Ludie (Pettit) Huskey. She worked in Retail Sales for Judy’s Place prior to her retirement.

She was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a member of the Grace River Community Church. Preceding her in death were her husband: Guy Spivey, her parents and a daughter Vicki Carter. Survivors include: One Daughter: Kathy Henley (Daniel) One Sister: Katherine Huskey Smith Four Grandchildren: Shannon Bingham (Richard), Christy Lowery (Eric), Casey Briggs (Michael) and D.J. Henley Seven Great Grandchildren: Shyanne Bingham, Blake Lowery, Sam Lowery, Jaxon Atkins, Camden Briggs, Guy Briggs and Trey Ricks Pallbearers will be Daniel Henley, Eric Lowery, Michael Briggs, D.J. Henley, Blake Lowery and Kenneth Taylor.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jaxon Atkins, Camden Briggs, Guy Briggs and Trey Ricks. In lieu of flowers: memorial donations may be made to Southern Care Hospice @ 1316 Somerville, Road, Decatur, AL 35601. Peck Funeral Home 1600 Hwy 31 SW P.O. Box 427 Hartselle, AL 35640 256.
