Obituary for Frances J Brooks Frances J. Brooks, 92, of Evansville, passed away December 6, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born August 18, 1926, in Anco, KY to the late Chester and Mae (Young) Combs. Fran was a member of the Jaycee Wives’ Club and an avid golfer at Rolling Hills Country Club.

Fran is survived by her children, Sandra (Barry) Zeluff of Houston, TX; sons, Michael (Ellen) Brooks of Columbus, GA and Steven (Tammy) Brooks of Providence, KY; grandchildren, Jeremy Brooks, Andrew Brooks, Courtney Kaiser, and Brooke Zeluff. Fran was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Brooks in April of 2000 and her parents. Visitation will be 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave.

, Evansville. Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Father Ted Tempel officiating. Entombment will be private at St. Joseph Mausoleum.
