Obituary for Frances LaRue Brown F. “LaRue” Brown, 90, of Springfield, Missouri, formerly of Cape Girardeau, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was born November 2, 1927 in Amarillo, Texas to the late Haskell M. and Nina (Carpenter) Beeler. She and James L. Brown were married in 1950 at Amarillo, Texas.

He preceded her in death October 21, 1988. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. Survivors include her son, Dean Brown and wife, Darla of Republic, Missouri; daughter, Becky Jacoby of Santa Fe, New Mexico; three grandchildren, Daniel Brown, Neil Brown, Katie Jacoby.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, one brother, three sisters and son, Thomas Brown. Visitation will be Friday, May 25, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until noon at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.

Funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home with Rev. David Conley officiating. Entombment will take place at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
