Obituary for Francis “Frank” E. Niebrugge Francis E. Niebrugge 76, of Bonita Springs, FL died Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 11, 1942 in Indianapolis, IN a son of the late Rufus and Mary Ellen (née Dickerson) Harris. At an early age both of his parents passed away and he was placed in an orphanage and eventually was adopted by Lawrence and Katherine Niebrugge.

Frank had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 2014 coming from Lone Pine, CA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. After serving his country he became a union electrical lineman working for L.E. Myers out of Indianapolis, IN.

and then on to the Saudi Construction Electric Company and in 1986 began a 24-year career with the California Department of Water and Power retiring in 2010. He was a member of the IBEW 481 in Indianapolis, IN, the Moose Lodge Chapter 1434 in Linton, IN, the VFW Post 8036 in Lone Pine, CA, the American Legion Post 265 in Mt. Whitney, CA and a member of the Mason Lodge.

He is survived by his 4 children, Patrick E. “Ric” Niebrugge and his wife, Casey of Bonita Springs, FL, Frankie S. Sanders and her husband, Randy of Dexter, MI, Robert L. Niebrugge and his wife Dana of Linton, IN and Anthony J. Niebrugge of Linton, IN; 6 grandchildren, Beau Niebrugge of Naples, FL, Chasey Niebrugge of Bonita Springs, FL, Randi Brooke Farris of Pittsboro, IN, Tate O. Sanders of Howell, MI, Kylee D. White of Linton, IN and Zane B. Niebrugge of Stinesville, IN and 4 great-grandchildren, Gavin Niebrugge, Reed Niebrugge, Stevie C. Farris and Charleigh Q Farris. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas L. Niebrugge of No. Ft.

Myers, FL and his sister, Sandy Buckly of Henderson, NV. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Chuck Harris, Joe Harris, Bob Harris and one sister, Geraldine Harris. Private services will be held by the family.
