TORRINGTON – BRITTON – Francis “Sonny” L. Britton, 74, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 12, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Jacqueline (Mouari) Britton for 51 years. Born December 21, 1943 in Puerto Rico; the son of the late Francis I. Britton and Carmine (Flores) Britton.

Frank proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He worked various jobs including Sheriff in Fairfield county over the years. He enjoyed fishing, playing billards and studying… Read More » the bible.

He is happy now that he’s home with the Lord and not in pain. In addition to his devoted wife, he leaves a cherished son, Shawn F. Britton and his wife Grace of Torrington; two sisters, Phylis Mouari and husband Edward of Danbury and Carmine Kurcatkowski of Washington Depot and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
