Francis Wilson, 69, of Gary, Indiana passed away peacefully Saturday, June 16, 2018, after battling a brief illness. Francis was born August 18, 1948 in Gary, Indiana to Elijah “Tannis” and Mary Helen (Herma) Wilson. He was a 1968 graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School.

Upon completing of high school, Francis enlisted in the United States Air Force. Francis served proudly and was honorably discharged September 1970. He retired from Arcelor Mittal on July 1 ,2006.

Francis leaves to cherish his memory, two sons John W. Sellers, Deon (Roxanne) Taylor and his two daughters Barbara Shanti (Gay) Walker, and Bianca (William) Gillespie.
