Obituary for Francisco Diaz Francisco “Frank” Diaz, 80, of Waukegan passed away on May 2, 2018. Frank was born on September 2, 1937 in Houston, Texas. He was an active member of Most Blessed Trinity for many years.

Frank was a jack of all trades, who enjoyed working in his garage and had a great appreciation for animals including the birds in his back yard. He loved playing his guitar and listening to country western and tex-mex music. Frank will be dearly missed by his wife of 28 years Adella Lopez Diaz; his children James, Daniel, Russell, Mark Anthony, and Rose Ray of Houston, Texas; his sister Isabel Granger; five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Antonio and Porfiria Ramirez; both parents Jose Andres and Espitacion Diaz; beloved son’s Frank and Joseph; siblings Juan Villalobos, Valentina Farias, Phillip Berrospe, Angel Corona, Mary Corona, Frances Solis and Andrew Diaz. Frank’s visitation will be held on Friday May 11, 2018 from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday May 12, 2018 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church 508 Grand Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085.

Inurnment will take place at a later date at Ascension Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Frank’s name may be made to Save-A-Pet Adoption Center P.O Box 266 Grayslake, IL 60030. The family greatly appreciates Great Lakes caring Hospice team including their nurses Angie, Iga, Joe, Ana, and Tito.
