Obituary for Ramona Hester Ramona Matthews Hester, of Zion, IL, passed away June 12, 2018. Ramona taught for many years in Waukegan and Zion before retiring last year. Ramona was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Ruth Miller.

She is survived by her daughter Alycia Hester, son Jordan Hester, brother Carlton Matthews, aunts Alice Phelps and Mary Matthews, grandchildren, her constant companion Calvin Glover, and a host of relatives and friends.
