Obituary for Philip A. Ridgeway Philip A. Ridgeway, of North Chicago/Waukegan, Illinois, Lake County, born on July 29, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Phyllis A. Brown and the late John H. Ridgeway, passed away at age 70 on June 2, 2018. Due to prolonged health issues in Waukegan, Illinois, Lake County. Philip graduated from North Chicago High School.

He was a Carpenter/Repairman and CNA at Lake Forest Nursing Home until retiring in 2009. Philip was the beloved husband of Trina Ridgeway. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Ridgeway (Dot), Paul Ridgeway, and Robert Bendy; and sister, Charlotte Jedkins.

Philip is survived by his son, Eric Steele; daughters, Kenya Ridgeway, Kelly Steele, Lea Ridgeway-Lewis; brother, David Bruce Ridgeway; and sisters, Mary Ann Brown (James) and Laura Riggins. He had a passion for helping others with fixing up their house. He liked to spend time with his family and watch television during his spare time, such as Jeopardy, Laurel and Hardy, Price is Right, Andy Griffin and Western Shows.
