Obituary for Anthony V. casagrande Anthony V. Casagrande, 84, of Waukegan and formerly of Ironwood, MI passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the Terrace Nursing Home in Waukegan. He was born May 29, 1934 in Ironwood, MI and was a longtime Waukegan resident. Anthony served in the United States Army and was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church.

He retired from U.S. Steel Corp. after many years or service. Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Cecelia (nee Mes); stepchildren, Bernard (Janet) Miller, Jr., Michael (Tammy) Miller, Elaine Miller; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers, Bert Casagrande, Ray (Shirley) Casagrande and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Antoinette Casagrande; siblings, Frances, Mary Louise and William. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, September 24, 2018 at PETERSON & PATCH FUNERAL HOME 408 N. Sheridan Rd. Waukegan.

Interment will be Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Peterson & Patch Funeral Home. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Anthony V. casagrande please visit our Sympathy Store.
