Obituary for Elizabeth J. Wright Elizabeth J. (Rosengren) Wright, 82, of Zion/Waukegan passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018. Betty, as she was known, was born June 27, 1936, in Waukegan to Carl & Agnes (McGrain) Rosengren. She attended Waukegan Public Schools and was a member of the WTHS Class of 1954.

She attended St. Therese School of Nursing, graduating in 1957 as a Registered Nurse. Betty worked at many Lake County hospitals and for many local doctors as a Surgical Nurse. In 1979, Betty graduated from the University of St Francis with a Bachelor’s in Science.

She was a School Nurse for District #60 and a teaching assistant in the Preschool for Children at Risk program. Betty is survived by her children: Leon (Lisa) Wright; Joseph (Annette) Wright; Jean (Donald) Bahe; Joan Wright; and James Wright. Her Grandchildren: Jeffrey (Nadeige) Wright; Lauren (Scott) Rossing; Jacob Wright; Matthew Wright; Michael (Veronica) Duffy; Austin Bahe; Sarah (John) Odom; Emily Bahe.

Her Great Grandchildren: Lilly Odom and Lorelei Duffy. Her cousin JoAnn McGrain, as well as many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, James E. Wright; her parents Carl and Agnes Rosengren; her brothers William & Robert Rosengren; her sister Lillian Ryan; brotherinlaw James Ryan and sisterinlaw Lila (Cobb) Rosengren.

Visitation will be at St. Dismas Church, beginning at 9:00 am on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, with funeral mass immediately following at 10:00 am. Internment will be at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Betty’s memory to Vista Home Health and Hospice at 1790 Nations Drive, Suite 205.
