Struthers – Frank Deberry Sr.,74, formerly of El Paso, TX and Minnesota, died Friday morning, January 25, 2019 at his home with his loving family by his side. Frank was born August 6, 1944 in Senatobia, Mississippi, a son of the late Shirl and Sarah (Garrett) Deberry. A Vietnam veteran, Mr. Deberry served for over 19 years in the United States Army, before his honorable discharge in 1987 with the rank of SFC.

He received numerous medals including two Bronze Stars. After his military service, he worked as a security guard at the Minnesota State Capitol. Frank was of the Catholic faith and was a Free & Accepted Mason while in El Paso.

Frank is survived by his wife, the former Theresa Walter, whom he married on May 17, 2015 in El Paso; stepdaughters, Tyana (Peter) Besada of Fullerton, CA, Tiese (Jose) Bruce-Lassalle and Catherine (T’andre Perry) Rogers, both of Youngstown; stepson, Michael Rogers of Struthers; two sons, Frank Deberry, Jr. amd Antonio Deberry; brother Charlie (Marguerite) Deberry of St. Paul, MN; several step brothers and step sisters; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his dogs, Latte and Mijo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several step siblings. A private service will be held at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home followed by burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with full military honors.
